A regular Super Visa can be issued for up to ten years, but the visitor can only stay up to 2 Years at a time for each visit.

When you apply for the Super Visa Insurance, remember the coverage of the Super Visa should not be started until the Visa is issued with finalized travel dates. Your Insurance should start on the date you travel.

You can extend your Super Visa by submitting an extension up to another 1 Year before the current status expires.

Super Visa Insurance with a pre-existing condition

Super Visa insurance provides coverage for pre-existing medical conditions not covered by OHIP or your private health insurance plans. Some plans will cover pre-existing medical conditions, while others will also cover stable pre-existing medical conditions.
